Please read our terms and conditions. You will confirm your assent to these booking conditions when booking a tour with Njord.

Our promises to you
We aim to be fair, reasonable and sympathetic in all our dealings with clients, and to always act with integrity.
We will meet all our legal and regulatory responsibilities, often going beyond the minimum obligations. We aim to provide full and accurate information about our tours.
Changes will be communicated promptly. If something does go wrong, we will try to put it right. Our overriding aim is to ensure that every client is satisfied with our services.

All we ask of you
We ask that you read the information we send you.

Our contract with you
From the time we receive your completed online booking or signed booking form and initial payment, a firm contract exists between you and Njord Travel & Tours Ltd. The deposit is non-returnable except in the special circumstances mentioned.

Eligibility
We reserve the right to refuse to accept a booking without necessarily giving a reason. You must have a level of fitness which would not spoil other participants' enjoyment of the tour by slowing them down. With this in mind, we do not accept bookings from anyone who would be aged 81 or over at the time of the tour.

Prices & Payment
All prices are in Euro. Please note we are only able to accept payments made in Euro. However online bookings are automatically drawn in Euro, and converted by your payment processor to your local currency. - We are using PayPal to process our online payments. Other options are by bank transfer and check.

Insurance
You must have travel insurance to cover such things as medical treatment, repatriation, loss of property and cancellation charges. Insurance can be obtained from most insurance companies, banks, travel agencies and the like.

Passports and visas
You must have a valid passports for travel inside the European Union, the passport needs to be valid for six months beyond the date of the tour. Nationals of other countries should ascertain whether visas are required in their case, and obtain them if they are.

If you cancel
If you have to cancel your participation on a tour, there will be a charge which varies according to the period of notice you give. Up to 56 days before departure the deposit only is forfeited. Thereafter a percentage of the total cost of the tour will be due:
between 56 and 29 days: 40%
between 28 and 15 days: 60%
between 14 days and 3 days: 80%
within 48 hours: 100%

We take as the day of cancellation that on which we receive email or written confirmation of cancellation.

If we cancel
If eight weeks or more before departure there are insufficient bookings for a tour to be viable, we might decide to cancel it. You would receive a full refund. We would also cancel if hostilities, civil unrest, natural disaster or other circumstances amounting to force majeure affect the region to which the tour was due to go.


The limits of our liabilities
We accept responsibility for most of the ingredients of a tour, though there may be a failure or improper performance of some services attributable to unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, and for these we may not be liable. Our obligations and responsibilities are also limited where international conventions apply in respect of air carriers.

If we make changes
Circumstances sometimes arise which prevent us from operating a tour exactly as advertised. We would try to devise a satisfactory alternative, but if the change represents a significant loss to the tour we would offer compensation or give a full refund if you decide to cancel because the alternative is not acceptable.

Greek Law
These conditions form part of your contract with Njord Travel & Tours Ltd and are governed by Greek law.

Privacy & Data Security

Booking information:
The information you supply us with will be, according to relevance, passed on to hotels, airlines, restaurants and other suppliers. It may also be provided, either by us or by the suppliers, to public authorities such as banks and credit card companies, customs or immigration if required by them, or as required by law. We will pass on only what is necessary..

Alumni and email data:
At Njord we take your privacy very seriously. We will never share your email address with anyone. Your personal profile and booking history in the Alumni will be password protected and only available to you. If you have any questions about privacy and data security please contact us.
