Arrival at Rhodes airport. Transport to one of the boutique hotels in Rhodes Old town. We'll enjoy some welcome drinks and in the evening have dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast, a few hours of strolling in the old town, and tour the Palace of the Grandmasters. Introduction to the byzantine period and the time of the Hospitaller Knights of St.John. After enjoying lunch there will be some free time of individual exploring before we meet for dinner in the old town.

The day begins with a walk in the new parts of Rhodes city. We will get familiar with the Mandraki port, where the Colossus once stood and here are located the administration buildings from the Italian occupaton. Lunch and later in the evening we will enjoy dinner both in selected restaurants in the new parts of town.

After breakfast we depart for an eastcoast tour, first sighting the panoramic views of Monte Smith, later passing several fortifications. We stop at an ceramic factory, touring the exhibishion of old pottery. We continue onwards to Lindos, touring the Akropolis, and visit the Lindos church. Lunch in Lindos. We depart around 17.00. Evening free.

During the daytime we will tour the monastery of Filerimos, then proceed along the west coast to Kritinia castle, for a tour and enjoy a snack. Departing to the village of Embona for a winetasting before moving on to Apollona for lunch  and a tasitng of local products such as honey and suma. We depart around 17.00. Evening free.

This day is focused on exploring the moat and fortification system of the Old town. In the evening we will enjoy dinner in the old town.

After breakfast, we will engage in “free conversation”. Independent daytime. In the evening we will depart for Villa Panagos, with live music, dinner and tastes of ancient greek food.
