Our Tours
As one the leading tour specialists in Greece, Njord Travel & Tours has a quite unique selection of small-group tours available covering a wide range of specific themes such as art, architecture, gastronomy, archaeology, history and music. All tours involve elements of these themes to a varying degree, for ease of choice and comparison we have introduced a 'ranking' system based on the three major categories of Culture, Gastronomy and History.
Each tour available will have described the amount of focus the tour has in each of these categories.
Rankings:
3 stars *** - indicates a heavy focus on the theme, most time spent will revolve around this theme.
2 stars ** - indicates a balanced focus, used to complement a main theme or another balanced theme.
1 star * - the theme is present, perhaps even in larger degree, but focus is on higher ranked themes.
Excellence of taste in the fine arts and humanities, covering a wide array of specifics such as arts, music, philosophy, religion, architecture, sculpture, language, customs or simply way of living.
The combination and focus of these specifics depend on the individual tour selected, there are no full focus culture tours.

With 2 Stars ** Culture focus: History & Culture tours. Gastronomy & Culture tours. Deluxe Gastronomy tours.
With 1 Star * Culture focus: Templars & Masons tours.
Our gastronomy tours will delight discerning palates; we explore fine wines and foods as well as unique rustic local specialties. All tours have a level of gastronomy theme present as there are included full meals most days.
Our specific gastronomy tours however have a greater focus on the theme, and more gourmet experiences.

With 2 Stars ** Gastronomy focus: Gastronomy & Culture tours.
With 1 Star * Gastronomy focus: Templars & Masons tours. History & Culture tours.
This theme is also everpresent in all our tours, from the history of the wineyard producing the vine we taste, to the history of the church we walk by.
However some tours focus heavilly on history, as a main theme - covering subjects in greater detail such as castles, fortifications, coat of arms and Knights Templars.
